Our mission is to bring people together and empower our community with knowledge around health, wellbeing, sustainability and real food access, but also arts, music and science.

Tomas Cifuentes and Belinda Corniola are the Directors of IFTI Community Hub. They have a background in growing food organically around the Dandenong Ranges and Yarra Valley and they started this project using their own funds as they felt the urgency for a space like this.

As Permaculture enthusiasts they decided that the most important Event coming out of the Hub was to be related with local fresh food access. That’s how they created the The Seed of Life Farmers Market back in January 2019.

The Seed of Life Farmers Market supports ethical growers, producers and artists around the foothills of Mt. Dandenong. This is a monthly meeting place where the community can come together to share their resources, ideas and pick up fresh local produce grown organically.

This is an interactive market with live music, art, free workshops, healing spaces, chillout chai lounge, kids activies and more. It’s more than your regular Farmers Market. It’s a Mini-Festival. The market currently has around 700-800 visitors every 3rd Saturday of the month.

IFTI Community Hub has many spaces available for hire. From small consultation rooms where naturopaths and therapists can work, to larger rooms where people can host seminars, sharing circles, dances, talks, art workshops and much more.

Our goal is to set an example for the community.
